Galina Peebles is currently a candidate for her MBA from McCombs. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M University in College Station. Since graduating, Galina has worked as a Registered Nurse in the Oncology Department at Dell Seton Medical Center. In her time away from school and work, Galina enjoys spending her time outside!

Hector Leon

Hector is a first year PhD student of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Pharmacology and Toxicology Division, College of Pharmacy. Hector attended Arizona State University, where he completed dual bachelor degrees in Neuroscience and Psychology. As an undergraduate he worked on research involving environmental factors leading to the development of Alzheimer's Disease. In his free time, he enjoys reading, running, and watching movies.

Morgan Martinez

Morgan is a fourth-year Chemical Engineering PhD candidate in Dr. Hal Alper’s lab in the McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering. She is originally from Bellevue, Kentucky and attended the University of Dayton where she received her Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and a minor in Environmental Engineering. At UT, she has been part of the ChE Graduate Leadership Council for three years, chairing the organization from 2023-2024. In her spare time, Morgan likes to craft, cook, rock-climb and play flag football for the national champion ATX Heat Platinum.

Abbey Johnson

Abbey is a second year pharmacy student originally from Kansas, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences at Kansas State. She couples her PharmD candidacy with research at The UT Marine Science Institute, studying the effects of Semaglutide on fish native to the gulf. Outside of school, Abbey enjoys hiking, watching movies, and playing ultimate frisbee with the Texas Women’s and Non-Binary team: Melee.

Molly Hoyer

Molly is a first-year PhD student in French Studies, with research interests in the environmental humanities and postcolonial studies. After graduating from Wellesley College with a degree in Comparative Literature in 2018, she spent six years working at a boarding school in her home state of New Jersey before embarking on her latest adventure of graduate school. When she's not in class or reading, you can find her in a hot yoga studio, playing D&D, or just being chronically online!

Allison Morrison

Allison is a second-year student in the Texas Evening MBA program and has been living in Austin since 2019 when she moved here to work at Meta (formerly Facebook). She currently works on Meta's Central Policy Strategy and Coordination team, where she sets company-wide policy priorities and keeps company leadership informed about the latest tech policy and regulatory developments from around the globe. Prior to this role, she led integrity-focused war rooms for high-profile, high-risk global elections and crises for the company. Before joining Meta and moving to Austin, Allison lived in Washington, DC where she worked as a policy aide for Colorado Senator Michael Bennet.
Outside of work, you can find Allison hitting an early morning run, pool, or bike session as she trains for the World Triathlon Championships where she will be representing Team USA this fall in Malaga, Spain. She also stays connected to her Montana roots through skiing, hiking, camping, or doing basically anything outside. And if there's any time left over, she's exploring her own entrepreneurial pursuits building a new fitness platform called Ralli and connecting runners and athletes with training buddies on letsralli.com!
Allison graduated from Harvard in 2016 with a concentration in Government, Global Health and Health Policy, and a language proficiency citation in Mandarin Chinese. She also competed as a heptathlete on the Harvard Women's Track and Field Team.

A proud Texas transplant, Marion is pursuing her MBA at McCombs as she launches her own beverage company. Since graduating from Princeton with a public policy degree, Marion has worked for a cybersecurity nonprofit and fintech startup. Marion lives in Dripping Springs with her husband and two dogs. She enjoys pickleball, baking, and reality television.

Eugene Park

Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Eugene is currently a 4th-year PhD student in Computational Science, Engineering, and Mathematics (CSEM) at the Oden Institute. After graduating from Northwestern University with a BS in Applied Mathematics, he spent four years back in South Korea (part of which was spent in completing its military service requirement) before moving to Austin. Having been an international student himself since middle school, he is passionate about serving other international students and wants to bring together and support different student organizations that are already doing so in various capacities. Outside of the lab on weekdays and church on weekends, he likes reading Wikipedia entries, learning languages on Duolingo, listening to Christian worship songs, and playing ultimate frisbee with friends.
