Student Advocates for Graduate Education (SAGE) is a multi-institution organization that focuses on advocacy at the federal level. The coalition is comprised of 21 top tier research Universities who meet regularly to discuss both federal legislation regarding graduate education as well as the best practices of individual schools on issues of healthcare, finance, communication, transparency, and more. In the Fall, SAGE delegates meet at a rotating host institution to discuss best practices and plans for advocacy in the coming year. In the Spring, students from each school travel to Washington, D.C., to meet with Congressional representatives and their staff to discuss issues facing our schools.
