2026–2027 GSA Executive Committee Priorities
The 2026–2027 GSA Executive Committee is guided by three central priorities that shape our work throughout the academic year:
- Advocacy & Awareness
- Academic Support
- Community Impact
While these priorities do not encompass everything GSA values, they represent the core areas of focus for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Advocacy & Awareness
GSA will advocate for the needs and interests of graduate and professional students while increasing awareness of the resources available to them. We will strengthen partnerships with offices and organizations across campus to connect students with essential services, opportunities, and support. GSA will also amplify graduate student voices by supporting policies and initiatives that promote meaningful student representation and engagement in institutional decision-making.
Academic Support
GSA is committed to supporting graduate and professional students in achieving their academic and professional goals. We will provide financial support through awards and funding opportunities while allocating resources to graduate student organizations that enhance the academic experience. Through these efforts, GSA will help ensure that students have access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
Community Impact
GSA will foster a welcoming, inclusive, and engaged community for graduate and professional students. We will create opportunities for students to connect with one another through events, programs, and spaces that reflect graduate student interests and experiences. GSA will also encourage broad participation in the organization, ensuring that all graduate and professional students have meaningful opportunities to engage with and contribute to the GSA community.
